“ I am a mocha choca drinker. I have travelled extensively around the world and this one is in the top 3 world wide for me. The aroma on delivery was the start of my sensory excitement. The rich, thick chocolate/coffee mud in the pouring pot was a visual orgasim. The flavour was full chocolate velvet with a hint of coffee. No bitter after taste. Just lick your lips yum. I had a light lunch of toast, spinach, haloumi cheese and bacon, all tasty and the service was great. Right beside Coburg train station. ”

“ Nestled in a corner in Bell St you’ll find The Eastern Bloc, a turkish cafe. I love coming here. The food is amazing, the cafe experience is very relaxing. It’s near the Coburg Station and the small park/pathway so it has nice view if you sit near the glass window. The menemen is a must try!! Make sure you get it with sujuk (if you’re not vegetarian). The nutella gözleme is nice especially on days when you feel like satisfying your morning sweet tooth craving. Their coffee is amazing, you can tell they take their time for every order despite the morning rush for coffee. Cappucinno creamy and their iced mocha is refreshing (atleast for me). Definitely try and visit! Owned by such lovely people. You’d love to be a regular here! ”

Aside from the standard brunch menu, they have homemade pastries like borek, gozleme and muffın. The cafe has outdoor seating and is naturally bright inside.
